Updating a previous report, the Cincinnati Bengals have reportedly intensified their efforts in recent days to sign WR Ja’Marr Chase to a contract extension but a deal is not imminent, according to ESPN.com’s Jeremy Fowler. A proposed deal would likely be in excess of $30 million annually but the amount of guaranteed money is still being negotiated.
