Indianapolis Colts QB Anthony Richardson didn’t get much of a vote of confidence from head coach Shane Steichen after Daniel Jones was named the starter on Tuesday, Aug. 19. According to a report from Newsweek’s Evan Massey, Steichen gave the following answer when asked about whether Richardson had a future as the Colts’ long-term starting quarterback:
‘That’s hard to say. Obviously, Daniel is our starter right now. And if something happens to Daniel at some point, AR gets another opportunity,’ Steichen said.
