Ohio State WR Emeka Egbuka was reportedly a trade-up target for the Los Angeles Rams and Houston Texans before he was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with the 19th pick of the 2025 NFL Draft, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
‘My understanding was that there were two teams both trying to trade up: It was the Texans and the Rams. And the moment the Bucs surprised everybody by taking Emeka Egbuka, the receiver from Ohio State, the calls stopped. Those teams were calling all the teams above them and, all of a sudden, the calls stopped. So that’s the belief that Egbuka was the guy,’ Pelissero told The Dan Patrick Show.
