The Minnesota Vikings will not make a decision on their long-term starting quarterback until QB J.J. McCarthy (ankle) has fully recovered from a high ankle sprain, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. QB Carson Wentz will start Week 7’s game versus the Philadelphia Eagles but could remain in that role beyond this week if McCarthy is not completely healthy.
