Green Bay Packers WRs Mecole Hardman, Bo Melton, and Malik Heath are likely fighting for two spots on the 53-man roster, in the opinion of The Green Bay Press-Gazette’s Pete Dougherty, who lists WRs Jayden Reed, Matthew Golden, and Savion Williams as locks with WRs Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks as ‘close to locks.’ WR Christian Watson (knee) is recovering from a torn ACL and is expected to open the season on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list with a return to the field sometime in November.
