Seattle Seahawks WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling has had an ‘underwhelming start to camp,’ per ESPN’s Brady Henderson, who writes that Valdes-Scantling ‘will need to start showing that he can still stretch the defense’ to hold off a camp challenge from rookie WR Tory Horton. Henderson also points out that since Valdes-Scantling does not play special teams, it could be ‘hard to justify’ a roster spot if he isn’t one of the top three or four receivers.
