Pittsburgh Steelers TE Pat Freiermuth is envisioning an expanded role in the offense for 2026, as head coach Mike McCarthy has always used tight ends as a productive part of his offense. In McCarthy’s previous five seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, his leading tight end averaged 65.6 receptions per season. ‘I like my role in the offense,’ Freiermuth said Sunday, May 31. ‘I see my role increasing for sure.
