Pittsburgh Steelers WR Roman Wilson’s rookie year was a wash due in large part to injuries, but head coach Mike Tomlin is optimistic things will be different in his second season.
‘He was healthy, but healthy in football readiness were two different things. … When you are coming back from injury, you are essentially getting on a moving train. … (Wilson) was healthy at the end of the year. He was working extremely hard to practice, but a real Avenue never presented itself. … We are expecting really good things from him in the second year,’ Tomlin said on Tuesday, April 1.
