Minnesota Vikings QB Max Brosmer, who was signed as an undrafted free agent out of the University of Minnesota, could be viewed in a ‘long-term role as a backup,’ in the opinion of ESPN’s Kevin Seifert, who notes the team gave him $246,000 in guaranteed money. Seifert also adds that Brosmer’s ‘initial impression’ during the team’s rookie minicamp ‘merit a close eye’ in the months ahead as he competes with QBs Sam Howell and Brett Rypien behind new starting QB J.J. McCarthy.
